Citric Acid USP 30–100 Mesh (Derived from Cassava) (NON-GMO / IP) by Sunshine is a USP-standard citric acid made via fermentation with cassava as the base ingredient. Provided as white crystals within a specified 30–100 mesh range, it dissolves in water and is appropriate for formulations in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and personal care industries.
Citric acid serves as an acidulant, acidity regulator, pH modifier, and chelating agent in numerous formulations. Its uniform particle size facilitates blending and processing in dry uses, such as powdered drinks, effervescent items, tablets, candies, and other mixtures needing regulated acidity.
