Organic Nu-FLOW® (Rice Hull Fiber) from RIBUS is an organic flow agent derived from sustainably sourced organic rice hulls (Oryza sativa). This plant-derived component aims to enhance the flow characteristics of powdered substances and minimize clumping throughout processing, packaging, and storage, offering a clean-label substitute for artificial flow agents.
The rice hulls are processed and carefully sifted using a 200-mesh (74-micron) screen to create a light tan, freely flowing powder with uniform particle size. This mild processing technique aids in delivering a consistent ingredient that can be mixed into numerous dry formulations without greatly altering the flavor or look of the final products.
Organic Nu-FLOW® is appropriate for powdered dietary supplements, protein formulas, meal replacement mixtures, powdered drink mixes, seasoning mixes, baking blends, functional foods, and nutraceutical products.
