Natural Vitamin E is composed of eight distinct molecules--four of these molecules are known as “tocopherols” and the other four are “tocotrienols.” Both the tocopherol and tocotrienol families consist of members which are named alpha, beta, delta and gamma. Each of the tocotrienol molecules, alpha-tocotrienol, beta-tocotrienol, delta-tocotrienol and gamma-tocotrienol, have proven antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity as well as potential health benefits.
