Hemp Hulls are the hard, outer hemp seed shell that is leftover after the dehulling process to extract hemp hearts. The outer hemp shell is separated from the hearts using centrifugal force. The fibrous hemp hulls are high in magnesium, iron, and other minerals. The hemp-derived products by River Valley Specialty Farms are therefore all-natural and pure. Hemp Hulls are a medium dark shade of green/brown by their natural color. Hemp Hulls are a functional, high-fiber raw ingredient, also useful as an exfoliant in cosmetics, and in bio-based plastics and composites.
