Maltitol Syrup 100 is a non-crystallizing, clear, colorless, syrupy liquid composed of a water solution of hydrogenated, partially hydrolyzed starch. It contains maltitol, sorbitol, and hydrogenated oligo- and polysaccharides. It is used as a humectant and texturizer and is commonly found in sugar-free and reduced-sugar products like nutritional bars, candies, and baked goods. Non-cariogenic and suitable for the “does not promote tooth decay” FDA claim.
