Morinaga M-16V is a proprietary, room-temperature stable strain of Bifidobacterium breve that is of human origin. There are numerous clinical studies that show to may improve the health and intestinal environment of infants and adults by increasing the level of Bifidobacterium in the microflora. The strain has been shown to be effective in studies involving infants, premature infants, and pregnant mothers. This strain has been used in formulas in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) for infant growth and microbiota growth throughout various Hospitals in Japan and Oceania. This product is FDA-notified GRAS probiotic for infants.
