Our Empty Pullulan Capsules offer a premium, natural, 100% plant-derived shell solution engineered for maximum protection of oxygen-sensitive, moisture-sensitive, and high-value formulations. Produced naturally through the fungal fermentation of tapioca starch by Aureobasidium pullulans, pullulan is a water-soluble polysaccharide that provides an exceptional oxygen barrier—up to 300 times higher than HPMC capsules and 9 times higher than gelatin capsules. This superior barrier performance effectively shields delicate active ingredients, vitamins, botanical extracts, and essential oils from oxidative degradation, extending product stability and shelf life without the need for synthetic additives or antioxidants.
