Lactobacillus plantarum Lp90 was isolated from fermented plant of pickled radish in Chengdu city, Sichuan province. It has function of inhibiting fat accumulation, lowering cholesterol and
regulating intestinal flora. At present, this strain is preserved in China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center with CGMCC No. 10453. Lp90 strain, a kind of white or light yellow
powder, is prepared by the patented technology of expansion, enrichment and freeze-dring. It can be widely applied in food, health care products, pharmaceutical, daily chemical, agriculture,
environmental protection and other fields. The research results confirm that the main functions of Lp90 are as follows:
