Organic Nu-FLAC® (Rice Hull Fiber) by RIBUS is an organic rice hull fiber made from organic rice hulls (Oryza sativa). Developed for food and nutritional applications, this clean-label ingredient provides a natural source of insoluble fiber and is suitable for manufacturers seeking recognizable, plant-based ingredients for organic product formulations.
Produced using RIBUS' proprietary processing method, Organic Nu-FLAC® is manufactured into a light tan, tea-cut fiber that is sifted through a 20-mesh (841-micron) screen and retained on a 60-mesh (250-micron) screen for consistent particle size. Its plant-based composition is compatible with a variety of dry and blended food applications.
Organic Nu-FLAC® is suitable for organic bakery products, snack foods, functional foods, nutritional products, plant-based foods, dry ingredient blends, and powdered beverage mixes.
