Crataeva Nurvala, also known as spiny fish wood, is the flora of Hainan. Trees, 4-20 m or higher, with leaves on trees at flowering; Branches light grayish brown, with scattered nearly round skin holes. Produced in Yunnan (Hekou, Mengla), Guangxi (Longzhou), Guangdong (Xinyi, Hainan Island) and other provinces; From India to Indonesia via Indochina Peninsula. It grows by streams, lakes or flat lands, sometimes in open forests, and can reach an altitude of 1000 meters in less dry and humid climates.
