Uva Ursi is a small shrub with red berries. The leaves have been traditionally used to make medicine to help prevent and treat urinary tract and bladder infections. It is thought to reduce the bacteria in urine and fight inflammation. It is believed to help support bladder, urinary tract, and kidney health and support postpartum comfort. It may also aid wound healing and help chronic diarrhea. It has also been used topically to help lighten skin.
