Sawn palm, also known as sawn palm or saw palm, or "Sabah palm", is a shrub plant of the palm family, usually growing in the hot climates of North and South America, where the sawn palm Serenoa repens (bartram) produces small, ripe, dried fruits for medicinal use.
Saw palm oil is extracted from fruits by supercritical method, rich in various fatty acids and volatile oils, mainly oleic acid, lauric acid, myristate acid, palmitic acid, linoleic acid, stearic acid, linolenic acid and other saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, using pharmacopoeia inclusion process, made into white powder products, which can ensure the stability of active ingredients.
