Rehmanniae is a perennial herbaceous plant of the genus Rehmanniae. Rhizome fleshy, yellow when fresh; Stem purplish red, leaf blade ovate to oblong oval, green above, purplish or purplish red below, margin with irregular crenate or serrate to teeth.Inflorescences ascending or curved, slightly arranged in racemes at apex of stem, or all solitary leaf axils, flowering April-July; Capsule ovoid to long ovoid, fruit period from April to July.
