The entire plant is covered with dense and thick light grayish yellow star shaped hairs. The basal leaves and lower stem leaves are inversely lanceolate and rectangular in shape, with the base gradually narrowing into a short stalk shape, reaching 15 centimeters in length and 6 centimeters in width. The edges have shallow circular teeth, while the upper stem leaves gradually shrink and become rectangular to oval shaped, with the base extending downwards into narrow wings.
