GrapsTract is a potent antioxidant that shows neuroprotective properties. Our body naturally produces antioxidants to counteract reactive oxygen species, or ROS, which can damage bio-molecules such as lipids, proteins, carbohydrates and DNA. As we age, our body produces more ROS than it can balance, and as a potent antioxidant, grape seed extract helps to counteract the effects of ROS.
Grape seed polyphenols are: highly water soluble, and in in theory should be more bioavailable for humans. They also have great antioxidant activity, 50 times greater than vitamin E and 20 times greater than vitamin C1.
