Citrus bergamia Risso et Poiteau, the scientific name of Bergamot, has been endemic in the Mediterranean area for several centuries and currently its production is limited to the Calabria region (Southern Italy).
Vazguard® is a standardized extract from Bergamot in Phytosome formulation. Its BFC - Bergamot Polyphenolic Fraction - has shown to support health in case of challenges related to metabolic syndrome - sustained by inner abdominal fat - like high blood sugar, fatty liver, abnormal cholesterol or triglyceride levels, commonly associated to lack of physical activity, overweight, unhealthy diet and irregular life-style.
Vazguard® is effective thanks to the power of its unique mix of polyphenols and, in particular, thanks to a high concentration of flavonoids, found in bergamot juice, albedo and flavedo.
Specifically, Vazguard® is extremely good in supporting healthy blood levels through the optimization of total cholesterol, cLDL, cHDL, triglycerides, and glucose levels. With only 500 mg twice a day, equivalent to a full glass of Bergamot juice.
Furthermore, Vazguard® is the only bergamot ingredient with a scientific demonstration of activity on gut microflora.
