Our Allspice powder (Pimenta dioica) is of conventional grade and originates in Mexico. This ingredient is also known as clove pepper, Jamaica pepper, and pimento. Allspice powder is mostly used in the food and beverage industry.
Allspice is not only a common household spice, although it is also thought to have antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Allspice may also lower blood sugar levels and help lower menopause symptoms.
