AstaBest® Haematococcus Pluvialis powder contains 2.9% (HPLC) Astaxanthin that is cultivated in Photobioreactor (PBR) system using 100% pure mountain spring. Astaxanthin is thought to protect both the water-soluble part and lipid-soluble part of the cell since it can span the cell membrane. Plus, it is thought to cross the blood-brain and blood-retinal barriers to protect the brain and eyes. As a dietary supplement, AstaBest™ Astaxanthin can be made into a soft gel, tablet, capsule, or liquid. It is also an excellent ingredient to be added to human and pet foods and beverages.
