You are probably familiar with how our platform works – we bring quality companies online to sell their nutritional raw ingredients. A big part of this process begins with our Seller Development Team. The Seller Development Team is a group of individuals dedicated to finding exceptional factories with select ingredients for our customers.

In an effort to bring an even wider selection of factory partners online, we recently launched the IO Connect program for sellers. Instead of listing pricing and inventory, IO Connect listings include a button where our customers can reach out to the seller directly. How are these sellers different from the sellers that have been online for years? The IO Connect program allows factories to list their products online without shipping their products from an warehouse or drop shipping from their facilities. IO Connect sellers communicate with our customers directly.

Connecting directly with the seller has several advantages: Our sellers are the ultimate experts on their product – they can speak to all technical aspects and distribute any requested documentation directly. They also can negotiate pricing and confirm your order quickly. If you are looking for more marketing support for a specific ingredient or want information on other products that include their ingredient, these are questions you can ask the seller directly through an IO Connect listing.

Once you land on an IO Connect listing, simply click the button that says, “Contact Seller” and fill out the form. This email will be sent directly to the seller and they will reply to you directly.

Erica began her career in the Dietary Supplement industry in 2002 as a purchasing assistant, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience over the years.
