Leading global companies say technology, transparency, quality control and service are key advantages to the new B2B e-commerce platform

LAS VEGAS -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ingredientsonline.com, a new B2B e-commerce platform that enables U.S. companies to buy nutritional raw materials directly from major global manufacturers, on Tuesday convened its annual conference for partners and customers, as more than 100 participants discussed why they prefer the service and how it is changing the nutritional raw materials industry.

Executives from ingredientsonline.com joined partners and buyers at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas for "Welcome to the Future--An Introduction to Ingredientsonline.com: The Global Factory-Direct Marketplace for Nutritional Raw Materials." The conference was held during the industry’s SupplySide West trade show, which runs from Oct. 5-9.

Leading Chinese raw materials manufacturers told the conference that the new platform’s ability to combine the latest Internet technology with transparency, competitive pricing, U.S. stock, and quality assurance, while maintaining a high level of customer service, were the main drivers of their decisions to partner with ingredientsonline.com.

They also discussed how the new service helps them promote their brands in the U.S. market and pursue strategies in concert with China’s Internet Plus strategy that integrates online technologies and e-commerce with traditional manufacturing and business.

Conference participants included Kingdomway, which recently acquired Doctor's Best and Vitatech Nutritional Sciences in the U.S.; Shanghai Baosui Chemical Co., which is the world’s largest manufacturer of creatine; Jiangyin Huachang, a leading manufacturer of taurine and one of the major suppliers to Red Bull energy drink; and U.S. contract manufacturer and private label supplier Palmer Natural Products.
